I and my brother were super excited when we received the Lego Mindstorms EV3 kit. We had ordered it on Amazon a few days back, and it arrived yesterday.  The Lego mindstorms kit came with instructions on creating one of the many robots called the ‘Track3r’. We created the ‘Track3r’, programmed it, and tested it out within one hour. We also tested out many cool features of the Lego mindstorms kit.

What is Lego mindstorms EV3 kit?

The Lego mindstorms EV3 kit is a robotics kit that you can use to create programmable robots. The kit has a variety of  lego building blocks, sensors, motors, and a programmable brick.

You use the lego blocks to create the structure of the robot. These blocks are very similar to the blocks that are contained in regular lego kits.

The motors are used to add movement to the robot, and the sensors to help control the movement. The sensors and motors work together and can be attached to the programmable brick through cables, that are provided in the lego mindstorms kit.

The programmable brick is the brain of the robot. You can write and test a  program to control the motors and sensors on the computer using an interface that you can download from the Lego mindstorms website. After testing, you can download the program to the Lego mindstorms brick.
